Time to Eat

When it comes to food, Taiwan has it all. Dine like royalty without paying a king’s ransom for it. Time to go on Two Wheels

These days, the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) trend is gaining popularity as people begin to be more health and eco-conscious. Taiwan is well-known for its LOHAS practices, and there is no better way to experience it than to travel along the breath-taking coastal highways by bicycle! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and appreciate the simple yet wonderful things in life with your loved ones.

BEAUTY | Chu Lip Lipbalm; Pimp My Chu Lip

I was aware of the craze over ChuLip over these few weeks....on Facebook, Instagram, blogs, everywhere! "What's with the hype?", i wondered. And finally my puzzle solved when i got the invitation to attend the 'Pimp My Chulip' event at the Kare Cafe in 1Utama which was held last Saturday. I'm pretty lucky to be given the opportunity to join the hype myself as well! :D

What is Chulip? Incase you still don't know, ChuLip is actually the latest collection of lipbalms by Mentholatum. And no, it is not just ordinary lipbalms, but extra cute and trendy ones with its adorable dome shape and funky colours. I bet you girls would definitely wanna own one of these at least because the packaging is really kawaii lol. All Chu Lip lipbalms are formulated with a delicious blend of recipes with key moisturizing ingredients of Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Rose Hip Oil. One Chulip can probably last you quite some time, at least a couple of months or more.

Designer at work kayy..do not disturb :P

What's even exciting than owning a Chulip is...we get to pimp our own Chulips! Meaning we get to personalize our very own Chulip lipbalm which is one and only one woohoo! We were given a variety of accessories to design. All kinds of different and unique version of chulip were seen at the event. So much fun!

My master piece, i name it the Pink Princess :3 Decided to edit it to make it cuter haha

In search of the most outstanding ChuLip design, Mentholatum is organizing a contest where the most creative artwork will get to bring home an iPad Mini 3! Chulip is available at Watsons / Guardian outlets or any major supermarket in Malaysia, selling at NP: RM25.90 per unit. Get yours today ladies and start pimping! Who knows you might be the lucky one to walk away with the grand prize! The contest is currently ongoing until the 31st of March 2015.

Just snap a picture of your master piece and upload it onto www.chulip.com.my/pimpmychulip!

Finally got my hands on the lovely ChuLip! It's mineee :D New lipbalms to add into my collection haha.. If you didn't know already, Chulip is available in four pretty colours (flavours) in Malaysia;

Pink - Paris, Perfect Memories (Raspberry, Peach & Vanilla)
Red - NY, Brilliant My Way (Apple, Ginger & Tea Rose)
Purple - Arabian, Floral Shower (Rose, Geranium & Clove)
Green - Nordic, Fancy Nostalgia (Orange, Lime & Mango)

Been using it for a couple of days since i got it to keep my lips moisturized. You will get to 'taste' the lipbalm when you apply it as the artificial scent lingers around your moisturized lips which...i'm not very used to it to be frank (I'm using the Pink one btw). Personally would prefer it to be scentless. BUT...for the sake of my poor chapped lips, i decided to keep using it anyway xD It's cooling as well as you apply it. [edit: Recently tried the Green one and i love it! My favourite flavour!! :'D] Zero doubt on it's moisturizing properties and it is very easy to use as well. Plus, the packaging is really kawaii okay..how could you resist it! ≧◡≦

NOTD | Pictorial : How to apply Nail Stickers

Nail stickers are one of the simplest and quickest method can be used in creating beautiful eye-catching designs on the nails rather than those usual ordinary plain nail polish ones. It is super easy to do as well. All you need to do is just simply peel off your favourite nail sticker design and then stick it on your nails as desired. Yup, that simple! Sharing a pictorial, showing step by step on how i did my nail stickers art.

Tutorial : How to apply Nail Stickers; Step by Step

1) The tools you need; a small scissors, a nail file, a tweezers, top coat nail polish and of course, the nail sticker of your choice.
2) Firstly, decide on which sticker design / size to fit which nail. Ensure that your nails are dry and clean.
3) Carefully peel off the sticker from the sheet and hold it using the tweezers. Make sure only small part of the sticker is touched so that the glue of the sticker will not be messed up.
4) Gently place the sticker on the middle of your desired nail. Then, slowly press down the remaining part and adjust accordingly to the curve of your nail.
5) Cut off the extra part of the sticker.
6) Using the nail file, file the tip of the nail to achieve a smoother edge.
7) **Finished it with a layer of top coat (optional). And...tadaaa!! there you go, as easy as ABC! ;)

**Generally, people say that nail stickers do not require a topcoat. Using a top coat would shrink or dry out the stickers. But...i use it anyway lol because i wanted it to last longer and scratch-resistant..and it was not too bad haha xD

Have fun doing your own nail sticker art! xx

BEAUTY | Review : Neutrogena Hydrating and Brightening Foaming Cleanser

[Sponsored Post]

Got my hand on Neutrogena's latest improved products, both Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening and Hydrating Foaming Cleanser, which is just newly launched in Malaysia. Double brightening and hydrating power bringing duo benefit for healthy radiant skin.

Here's the colour comparison between the normal Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser with the other two Deep Clean Hydrating and Brightening Foaming Cleanser. All three cleansers have the similar rich and creamy texture.

Neutrogena Hydrating Foaming Cleanser is light blue in colour, with a very pleasant scent. It claims to have 2x Hydrating Power which gives you longer lasting oil control, and moisture boost for cleaner, softer, and suppler skin with every wash. It is enriched with ingredients; Copper Gluconate, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Water; which able to hydrate our skin with double moisture boost power.

Neutrogena Brightening Foaming Cleanser has a very light pinkish shade with a very mild mulberry scent. It claims to have 2x Brightening Power. It contains mulberry extract and clinically proven whitening vitamin complex; AA2G Ascorbyl Glucoside; that able to boost skin fairness and brighten skin with every wash.

I've been using these two alternately twice a day for the pass two weeks. Both gives me a refreshing squeaky clean feeling after cleansing. I usually use the Hydrating Foaming Cleanser in the morning to rehydrate my face after long night in the air-condition room. I notice that it is easier for me to put on my make up afterthat and it even last longer and not cakey. So I guess it actually does improve my skin and help in oil control :)

As for the Brightening Foaming Cleanser, i prefer using it in the night time, after work, to remove all the dirt and residue of my make up thoroughly. But i guess i did not use it long enough to observe any obvious brightening effect (yet?)...Actually my face tends to be very sensitive to any brightening or whitening products in the recent years...but fortunately this brightening cleanser is quite okay on my skin. It did not tingle or cause any redness nor allergies to my face.

Both cleansers are oil-free, dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic, so need not to worry. Besides, their price is pretty affordable as well! Check these out at your nearest Guardian and Watsons stores today :D
